On Sunday May 18th at 2 pm, you can be part of a historic event! For the first time in at least 180 years, Ho-Chunk drumming, dancing, and singing will take place at Tippesaukee Farm in Port Andrew, WI. The performance by the renowned Wisconsin Dells Singers and Dance Troupe will take place only 200 yards from where a village used by both the Ho-Chunk and Meskwaki peoples once stood.

The Wisconsin Dells Singers and Dance Troupe have been delighting audiences and sharing Ho-Chunk culture for nearly 50 years. There will be at least four drummer/singers and 12-20 dancers of various ages in full regalia. The performance will be held under a tent on the lawn at Crosscurrents. One hundred folding chairs will be provided, but visitors are welcome to bring lawn chairs or spread blankets on the lawn. The event is free but registration is required, and donations are gratefully accepted.

Even if you can’t attend the event, you can help to welcome the drum. Click on the button below to support this event. On the next page, click the green TICKETS & DONATIONS button. Next, scroll below the Tickets section to the Donate section and choose the amount you wish to contribute. The donation link will be available until the end of May.
